I am very happy the scopolamine is stopping the 3 hours a day of vomiting but the constant dry mouth is an extremely annoying tradeoff (there is no question mark in this post)

We also added Zofran for the nausea since I can't use the scopolamine patches anymore, but knock wood I haven't had a bad enough bout to try it yet

Embodiment fuckery log: the 6 days since last scopolamine application have been very vomit-free, knock wood, since discovering compression socks improve the symptoms, but today was *brutal* for some reason
Ongoing log of embodiment fuckery: yay I slept, but the welts are so painful today (after a shitload of prednisone) that I'm actually pondering going to the ER for some IV Benadryl because the oral Benadryl is doing fuckall :/
14 hours later, the place I moved the patch to last night also has a golf ball sized welt coming up. I have removed it and taken a bunch of prednisone (argh, sigh, etc), will wait 24h, and try ONE LAST TIME with my absolute last resort transdermal application site

I also have more scopolamine for the nausea, which is also helping, but as I said to her, at this point I am ready to try "hold this magic rock and repeat these magic words" if there's scientific or anecdotal evidence for it, that's how bad it's gotten, sigh

All praise my wife and all praise the amazing services of Wegmans pharmacy: she's home from work today because of a migraine but had to get prescriptions before they got re-shelved, so she took my scopolamine patches and a few photos of what my skin is doing with her

Oh, come ON. New manufacturer of scopolamine patches ARE causing lumps under the skin; I was blaming the first on having accidentally put it on a pre-existing muscle knot, but I just was unconsciously rubbing the new one, accidentally rubbed it off and had to relocate it --
