Perfect conditions on today’s run! Felt really good from the start and finished strong. 10k in roughly 48 minutes. Faster than normal, but have a few races upcoming so good to see where fitness is. Some of the views…

Humid run today. My wife and 17 year old joined me for the first mile. Got a race next weekend and my son is joining me. It’s a 10k and my only hope to beat him is endurance he ran sub 17 5k last CC season no way I’m doing that. Cows have the right idea…

Today’s run was tough. Hot and humid. I‘ve been working hard running, biking, swimming to get into shape for an August triathlon. Ran 28 of 31 days last month! Feeling much better fitness level!

Two runs complete today. One solo 4 mile speed work and a 2 mile with my wife and 9 year old. Have a race tomorrow morning with 17 year old. Going to be dreadful hot/humid. On a trail that’s super muddy with last nights storm.

Think the cows thought I was nuts running in 90 degree weather. I love how this shot turned out! One of the aspects of trail and gravel running I enjoy is the lack of traffic. Able to appreciate my surroundings. As an example the flora that grows along the side of the road is amazing. Very sweaty post run selfie.
