This is seimitsu ls-32, though I now prefer the ls-40 I’ve got in my other stick (pictured just to show orf). When I first got into it I preferred heavy tight springs (sanwa jlf 8pt modded with 2lb spring), now I’m more loosey goosey quack quack ;)

UFA 2026 was such a blast ! Kudos to everyone involved for such a welcoming event. Brought some loot, most notably this Seimitsu LS-32 to try it out in one of my builds.

converted one of my fightsticks to 4-way to exact proper revenge on arcade ghosts n goblins next week, so I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious
8-way was fine until stages with lots of ladders, and switching to gamepad still had a few too many accidental diagonals for my liking

oh yeah seimitsu levers are kinda chodelike in comparison to other stuff. I had to get a bat top to make the ls56 comfortable. I never hear shmup people mention Korean levers so I didnt want to take the risk but I can see them being useful for iads etc based on how many tekken guys like them.

I was going for Sanwa buttons just bc vibes, but I might go full Seimitsu. Also I know square gate is kinda the standard but in my mind octogonal feels better, is there any reason for it?

Dreaming of the arcade stick I wanna build. I think I'm gonna go for the same look as my GBA, so transparent case and pink buttons and ball. For the stick I think I'll put the same Seimitsu model Ikaruga's arcade machine uses. Button's will be Sanwa :)

I've still been using my x360 SFIV arcade stick where I've upgraded the sanwa buttons and moved to my perferred Seimitsu stick, but I've wanted to try a stickless controller for years.

The Japanese industry has Sanwa & Seimitsu to rely on but this is apocalyptic for the western industry. Happ didn't just sell parts, they designed many of them in house and were relied upon by Namco, Raw Thrills, Sega...h/t @arcadeheroes for both stories. Buy your techs a drink

ok am I losing my mind or does no one sell replacement dust washers for ls-32s
I ended up with one of those white ones for other seimitsu stucks but of course it won't fit without the shaft cover which doesn't fit this

focusattack sells seimitsu plungers with a matte finish that are meant to be hotswapped into the existing part. I don’t know if the plungers themselves are compatible with hori or other brands’ stock buttons though so you might have to buy additional buttons as well.

I love me some Seimitsu controls, but their KEIKOU buttons (and possibly more of their PS-15 buttons, and who even knows where this ends TBH) have a manufacturing artifact that prevents smooth movement when the button is pressed off-centre.

Mon deuxième stick arcade fighting alpha est arrivé ce matin. Plus qu'à le modder. Le premier je l'ai fait en Samwa , mais le stick j'ai du mal, donc celui là sera en Seimitsu majoritairement. Le prix des boutons est pas donné, mais pas le choix c'est les seuls qui ont le rouge qu'il me faut
