I was pretty pleased by that.

The myth is that there's something--no one knows what--on the other side of the Bounding Fog that encircles the World. Ships sail into the fog to come out again at some other point... or vanish. Another world? More of this one? Only Leur knows. 🌊

Day 4 Autumn Vibes

#ViolinHeist is a summer book, but both #BrewingWIP and #SiegeWIP are fall books. Those vibes are wind and fog and rain and cooler weather. Warm fireplaces, cooked food, and festivals.

Sci-Fi: Exploring what it means to be human. Or just to be a decent person, bc y'know robots and aliens...

Fantasy: I love a good, solid adventure. It doesn't specifically have to have politics or romance just, I guess the journey and development forged from that.

There's the Deity of Water, Sierra the TideWeaver, the Titan associated with the Water Temple, Diara the Silent One, the Blessed with water associations, Hayley the Rainmaker, Shiver the Tundra and Claire the Cloud Walker.

Each have different sub-associations too!

So magic itself is tied to the amulets one recieves from the spirits after defeating them. However, the power of the amulet received is dark (destructive, used for pain or hurt) if one kills the spirits versus light (healing, growth, protection) if one heals a spirit.

All other unusual creatures have died out by Witch Child or are ridiculously well hidden. Needs more work 😁

So I haven’t exactly world built around whose food is whose and belongs to what culture yet, partly because the Alliance is a monoculture and partly because it hasn’t come up yet.

So instead, how bout a snip of some food made with a God’s recipe?

there isn't anything specific for food events, but for the festivals (especially harvest in Holom and Caax), it's going to be locally grown things cooked to be street food, likely on sticks XD
