Delivering today's Lansing Rotary reflection, I took up President-Elect Larry's challenge to share "What Do You Do With An Idea?" Answer: You change the world! Paul Harris had an idea in 1905 that became Rotary. He changed the world. Now, it's our turn. #ServiceAboveSelf

Today's Rotary Club of Lansing luncheon featured a fellow Rotarian as speaker: Lansing City Clerk Chris Swope. Our club and community are both blessed by Chris' public service. Plus, special music by the LCC Jazz Band. #ServiceAboveSelf

Friends: If you are interested in learning more about Lansing Rotary, I'd be happy to take you as my guest! We typically meet on Fridays at noon at Lansing Community College. #ServiceAboveSelf
On Friday, Bob Trezise, President & CEO of LEAP, spoke to Lansing Rotary about our region's economic future. I don't always agree with Bob's diagnoses or prescriptions, but he's raising the right questions and urging others to be part of the conversation. That's important.

You don’t need to react when someone attacks you. Stay centred, stay calm, and lead from strength, not emotion. Grace under pressure is a superpower.
