#SfN2025…but
LLMs get a lot of attention but if you are interested in the original (allegedly) stochastic parrots come to my poster Tuesday where I will present new work on the natural vocal behavior or parrots and its cortical control #Sfn2025 #SfN25

I identify with this pumpkin more than I should. Especially after an invigorating, but exhausting, #SfN2025 😅
Anyway please enjoy this pumpkin I saw yesterday

With all the FAA chaos going on we had to fly the plane ourselves, but @thebalelab.bsky.social and I are on our way to #sfn2025

At #SFN2025? Into sleep, brain rhythms, or single-unit–based memory reactivation? Then you absolutely should check out @fabian31415.bsky.social's poster. I might be biased, but this is some truly awesome work.

Excited to present our recent work on how sequential coupling of sleep oscillations enables concept-neuron reactivation and supports information flow across the human hippocampal–cortical circuit. #SFN2025 Board NN12 Nov 19 8 AM–12 PM #sleep #memory #HumanSingleNeuron

Oh well, we forgot to take a picture altogether at the end of our talks #SfN2025…but we did make sure we had good food to celebrate our love for #radialglia and #astrocytes 😌

Good morning from rainy San Diego!! I’m all set up for #SfN2025, bar an umbrella but it’s dry indoors anyway 🤭

#SfN2025 Planning & making a reach involve different brain areas and neural populations, but are coordinated behavioral computations. Check out Ryan's poster tomorrow morning (PSTR076.02, M14) where he uses neuropixel recordings to test hypotheses about how neural populations implement this feat!

Wooo I am going to San Diego! Not going to lie, I am terrified to be entering the US, but am beyond excited for a jam-packed week of neuroscience at #SfN2025!

If you will also be attending, make sure to come say hi!
The end of October means we are getting closer to the biggest Neuroscience conference of the year- #SfN2025!

Our sales executive, Cassandra will be attending! If you want to make sure to meet her, why not schedule a meeting? Slots can be booked here: https://ow.ly/vFQu50XkiHE

Not a fan of 4:30 starts but we are on our way to #SfN2025!! I think the coffee line is longer than the TSA line at Austin airport 😂 ☕ #SfN25

We’re not losing talent because students don’t care, but because the system pushes them out. Brilliant young scientists who could serve patients and society are forced into private-sector jobs that mainly make already rich companies richer.

I'll be attending #SfN2025 in San Diego for the first time this week! No posters, but I'll be glad to chat about science with anyone in this great community! DM me if you are interested! #Neuroscience2025

Our lab had a poster at the #SFN2025 meeting in San Diego, but the #NIH people were not able to attend.

I wanted to call in Haleigh Mulholland, postdoctoral fellow (2nd pic). Haleigh was a major driver behind this project, and I encourage anyone with questions to reach out to her.

still thinking about that neural basis of speech talk from Eddie Chang on Sunday. Have loved their work for years, that might have been the best talk I have ever seen. I don't really say this that much lately, but truly inspiring work.

Won’t be enjoying my nice patio much during a soggy few days in San Diego. But still excited for dry/indoor science here at #sfn2025
