it's only gonna get worse in the coming years i feel like. i should look into SOCKS / Shadowsocks proxies, as well as setting up XMPP and IRC accounts for good measure, and maybe a Signal proxy or something.

sometimes i look at how russia censors its internet... and that eventually, our ISPs would want to recreate that too since the two countries are so close in proximity.

eventually the free web will be a lot harder to navigate and i don't know if i have a plan for that...

You're using a VPN.

If your VPN provider has an obfuscation service or proxy such as a shadowsocks/SOCKS5 proxy it might be able to bypass this.

It works for me using shadowsocks and mullvad VPN.
