Shelfstable, premade gnocchi cooked according to directions on the package, melt a little bit more than half a stick of butter in a pan. Keep an eye on it until it starts turning brown add a fistful or so of chopped sage. Squeeze half a lemon and then toss the gnocchi with it.

I started doing this two months ago. I’m so glad that I was raised poor. My grandmother raised me and she was a daughter of the depression so every butter container turned into Tupperware. There was always beans macaroni shelfstable food in the house always so I know how to do this.

i have used food banks in the past. most people don't know this. Food banks are mostly full of shelfstable items that will keep you from starving but they do not have fresh meat, fresh vegetables, or fresh fruit.
