I never have any difficulty suspending my disbelief that the forehead aliens of the week are real extraterrestrials but for some reason the fake dog in the Enterprise episode "A Night in Sickbay" completely takes me out of it.

I saw first contact at the Pueblo mall theater with my dad. When the borg began to smash through sickbay door the film froze,and the middle of the screen melted. The film got stuck,the light had melted the film. Felt like part of movie
