I believe neuroscientists like Alain Berthoz hold this view (cf. his book “Simplexity”). It feels correct to me, but I also think that the resolution of the puzzle will not reduce everything to physics.

German is easy to learn because of the simplexity of grammar rules. Same for Japenese. It's rules are actually very simple and straight forward. Like Spanish, unlike English. Japenese is a SOV language (subject object verb). Well, the Roman forms are easy to learn.
