Dueling AI simulacras all claiming to represent the true voice of the Eternal Leader
It's probably another symptom of our sick society that so much money is available to be pumped into creating garish simulacras of humanity but almost nothing into supporting real people who are provably alive, conscious, and already exist.
This is an artificial mouth created by Japanese researchers. It uses artificial vocal cords, a trachea system, and a flexible silicone mouth that moves and shapes sound in real time.
It sounds so human-like!

Even ignoring the obvious "its not a dating sim" critic. These sort of things are weird simulacras since even the generic moege they seem to want to parody dont play anything remotely like what they envision them to be

why is um->a pluralization seemingly uniquely difficult for people
"a millennia" is oddly common but that is not nearly as bad as the "simulacras" I just saw

appreciate the immediate enthusiasm but i should make clear this will not ever be a real thing because a) if it accidentally leaves the target audience bad things will probably happen, and b) i would actually feel bad about creating potentially endless Ophelia simulacras just for them to suffer
i should make and post some, like, png cutouts of myself with transparent backgrounds so anyone can just edit it into pictures of awful scenarios. have your very own personal Ophelia Bad End Sufferdolly.

If life has rules they are undocumented and easily ignored. You can encourage other people to do it too. Simulacras of reality within reality are no different in practice to the actual thing.

this really got matrix vibes and that stuff was helpful af so bcuz there isn't actually an object system and everything on the screen is for the user benefit, the simulacras act as sign posts to help to try and build stuff based on everything else above+
