The Space Slann was always somsehting I liked about the setting.

Worth including in a theory vid on the Old Ones, Slann, and whether the Old Ones genuinely were Slann or if the degenerate Slanni populations on backwater worlds are their descendants.

Oh well, at least it's the silliest one. Besides, at this point I'll frankly take any Slanni attention she gets the least amount of love.

Or Slanni Warriors, who will pal around with my Craftworlder OCs when I eventually paint them. (The Craftworld has become anchored in Slanni space, nobody is particualrly happy about it)

No, totally different. Basically the Old Ones are a mysterious ancient race and the Slann are in Fantasy a race of giant Frog wizards that lead the Lizardmen to orchestrate the Old Ones plans. The Old Ones are also referenced in 40k and Slanni are frog aliens there.

Slanni are...ancient optimists - They seen the galaxy all the way back from war in heaven days, some still remember those days, and they seen galaxy in far far worse state, they look at current day galaxy and go "Ya, this is fixable", it's the most cursed 40k concept - someone learning from mistakes

I sat down and done lizardmen riff for fun, and I went wholy different path, as it was fun to make em fairly unique - slanni are one species of wide range of shapes of lizard people, most psykers, and come in three types, wardens (guarding primitive worlds), warrors (ones that fight one another) and

Let's put Good guys into 40k: The Eldar Eater's Fate
It seems this keeper of secrets was too angered by calm of the slanni...and not realizing that eating soulstones can be dangerous....

It's totally not how I write my personal homebrew for 40k slanni, species of ancient things that look at 40k and go "holly shit this place is a mess, it needs some fixing"
