The thing is that when you invent a term that’s not a slur to take the place of a slur because you know saying the slur is bad but you really want to say the slur anyway, your slur synonym is the same thing as the slur. Full stop.

A word can't be a slur if it's referring to an inanimate object. "The new slur for tables" what are you talking about
if you insert a different word for a slur, and make it clear you mean the slur (perhaps in brackets! Perhaps in a reply), then you are using the slur.
