I'm using SmartDraw to create some building permit floor plans and it's… not terrible? It does dimensioned floor plans to scale better than, say, Illustrator. Back in prehistory I'd have used MacDraw.

This is not as good as that program from the early 1990s. But it works in a browser.

I recently used SmartDraw to create an architecture diagram and it was a much better experience, the connector lines and connection points are much better. It supports Visio import and export too.

Using the client's MicroShaft tools to get things done. I'd forgotten how awful Visio was, by comparison with other drawing tools: SmartDraw eats it alive.

Hmmm. Testing out Bonita Studio as a mapping and diagramming tool. Looks OK (and I'm a fan of Eclipse based tooling) but it might be overkill for my general requirements. A pity neither SmartDraw nor BizAgi have Linux versions, as they're both great products. #FreelanceLife

Not so much lacking, as my preferred modelling software (SmartDraw and BizAgi) don't have Linux versions. And I don't want to bother with Wine. Bonita is a BizAgi equivalent, though not quite as smooth - and I've yet to see whether Libre Draw matches up to SmartDraw. Everything else is just fine.
