I moved into the ‘Guinness Quarter’ or SoHeu (short for South of Heuston 🙄) as DCC were then proposing renaming it in 2005 and this development was imminent then. Here we are 21 years later and apparently it’s ’just around the corner’. I won’t hold my breath.
The start of construction at the Guinness Quarter is near, the developer says – as it seeks tweaks to planning permission. Proposed changes include dropping three-bedroom homes, in favour of more smaller ones in the block of future social housing.
