I got hella lucky. After some upsetting results with different headphones I overnighted some decently reviewed studio monitors and... they sound very close to what I optimized my sound mix for.

For me it's more that soundmixing on shows nowadays is garbage, so the dialogue is often mumbled and hard to hear but you can't turn the sound up because then the speakers EXPLODE when you get to an action sequence. :/
Also my roommate's hearing is bad and she needs them.

I can also mention my little orc rock band with Sam at the singing and guitar, Ako at the drums & Howard at the bass
Anatole knows to how do a bit of beatmaking/soundmixing on digital tools & Salvador also plays guitar (and sells them)
