New data sources, improved quality: The sunspot number EISN now comes from SILSO Belgium instead of NOAA and is based on measurements from several observatories. The solar flux is now also sourced directly from DRAO in Canada. These changes will take effect on NOV 4. #spaceweather #hamradio #hamr

The speed of the solar wind has continued to decrease. Geomagnetic activity is generally quiet (Kp 0–2). Like the Sun, it shows a low risk of flares (M05% X01%). No coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are visible in the available satellite images. Fair to good DX conditions. #spaceweather #hamradio #hamr

Been tuning in to the space weather reports every Sunday from Lindsey Slater and I highly highly recommend them if you are even a little bit curious about the Earth-Sun system #heliophysics #spaceweather #solaractivity #plasma #astronomy etc. Amazing work, Lindsey. Thank you so much for doing these!

The solar wind speed is slightly elevated but will gradually decrease over the next 24 hours. Geomagnetic activity will range from quiet to unsettled. The risk of solar flares is very low (M01% X01%). DX conditions will be mostly adequate, with some good conditions. #spaceweather #hamradio #hamr
