Das Speedlimit auf der 4-spurigen Stadtautobahn von Paris wurde (von ursprünglich 80) auf 50km/h gesenkt.
Fazit nach 3 Monaten: Weniger Stau,
weniger Lärm,
weniger Unfälle,
weniger Luftverschmutzung.

Le périph’ est passé aux 50 km/h début octobre 2024 suite à une décision de la maire de Paris qui a fait polémique.
Avec un peu de recul, la mesure n’est pas loin de faire consensus : tous les voyants...

If you can't bring yourself to obey the 20mph speedlimit to protect children playing and walking to school, cyclists and pedestrians, amd reduce polution..... then at least do it to save yourself a few quid.....
Default 20mph limits are a win/win for both insurers and drivers in this analysis of the reductions in claims and premiums in Wales from an insurance injury perspective. The scale of benefit is £90m pa in reduced premiums for the 2m drivers in Wales. #20splenty for insurers and insured
Could a speed limit change make motor profitable?
As profits turn negative, it raises the question: what could a lower speed limit mean for safety (and carrier profits)?

Much of the debate around Friday's rural local road #speedlimit change focuses on reducing deaths, it’s also about making roads safer for everyone. On my 80km/h road by a canal, walkers & cyclists are rare it’s too dangerous. Dropping to 60km/h would cut stopping distances and improve safety for all

A car got mad at me for driving the speedlimit. Their attempt to aggressively tailgate me backfired tho, bc it blocked their headlights from my vision and i didnt even know they were there until they honked LMAOOOOO
