I'm willing to bet there are more comic book dealers at www.mncba.org than NYCC, despite being a fraction of the size. I know it will be just as fun. Join me this weekend!

i started to rephrase with "why aren't they in winter" to specifically avoid hitting springcon, minicon, and fallcon (i can't remember when detour and mars are, it's been too long) but then just...didn't

They're not, though. I can think of five that are in the other seasons without even trying.
Fallcon, Marscon, Anime Detour, Minicon, Springcon.

I spoke to Matt Kindt at SpringCon. I said I enjoyed the FCBD issue of #MindMGMT - that it felt like Adult Swim. I meant This House Has People In It, but also Robot Chicken. After this I now believe he reminds me of Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea.

Writing Update 6/17/26
Okay, back with a bit of a writing update for the month of June. Bunch of random stuff to share with you. No real rhyme or reason to it. Busy month for life events and such. Had a fantastic SpringCon here in the Twin Cities. Almost sold out of the first book in the Greenland Diaries, had just my display copy leftover.

I had a great #Springcon! Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table! I was very impressed with some of the books people brought from home. It’s been awhile since I’ve signed a run of Key of Z!
Also, thanks to @mncbaorg.bsky.social for hosting such a great event!
