More pics from road to Lochinver. We did approx 40km & 500 metres climbing on this leg. StacPollaidh road is a detour off the main NC500 route. Radar light counted 68 vehicles. Felt fine. Just one convoy of 'luxury tanks' spotted...

Did Lochinver back to Ullapool, via Loch Assynt. Approx 60km & 750 metres. Different flavour to the minor StacPollaidh rd (with passing places), as A-road all the way, but felt fine. All traffic passed on other side of the road. Drink and F&C's, before £2 ea coach to Inverness with bikes. #cycling

Stac Pollaidh on a sunny autumn afternoon. I think it was autumn anyway. This was ages ago. A pointy rock in the foreground echoes the shape of the hills and a wisp of cloud looks like smoke from a chimney...if Stac Pollaidh were a chimney.
