My Freelancer "Definitive Edition" mod list. I.e. if I was put in charge of doing a Freelancer re-release, this is what I would do.

Maybe I should just finish the Freelancer playthrough I started earlier this year. I've had a hankering for a good space sim, but everything I've been trying lately has left me annoyed that it's not like Freelancer and there's an easy solution for that actually.

Spur Seq Oktalyzer. Damit hatte DJ Hardsequencer mit Braincrash seinen Durchbruch. Hatte Ihn damals als Liveact zusätzlich

In the foreground is a hillside, across which are distributed six radio telescopes, with dishes pointing on various directions, some at an angle, one straight upwards. On the skyline of the hill are two observatory buildings, housing optical telescopes. Above in the dark night sky, the Milky Way rises vertically in the central of the view, above one of the radio telescopes.

In the dark night sky, the Milky Way stretches diagonally from top left to lower right, its dense band of stars standing out. Below are rolling mountains ridges extending down to the sea on the horizon. To the immediate right, a stone path curves around a large rocky overhang, and the outline of the overhang looks like the side profile of a face.

In the foreground is the rocky terrain on a mountain ridge, looking down to lower ridges and in the far distance, light from a town. In the dark night sky, an almost vertical Milky Way, with its concentration of stars and gas clouds, seems aligned with a vertical rock outcrop on the ridge. 2 vertical Tajinaste flowers plants are also sitting below on the ridgeline, silhouetted against the orange glow from the town way below.
