#StepFunctions
Got an #electron, #vite, #typescript side project going. Trying to create a locally run #StepFunctions type of application. Building node directed graph with #rete. Should be easy right?

I've just built a first stab at an instant converter between JSONPath and JSONata ASL.

Still some corner cases missing, but does most of the work.

Using an event-driven architecture and serverless components in your AWS apps can help with decoupling, demand scaling and more. Using AWS Step Functions to fan out work to other services works well in many cases.(1/4)

Users consistently tell us that managing the flow of state data in #stepfunctions workflows is hard. We've improved over the years, but this is a game-changer. JSONata is powerful & intuitive. Variables simplify by decoupling states. Can't wait to see what you build! aws.amazon.com/blogs/comput...

Today on #AWS Bites, @eoin.sh & @loige.co cover new #StepFunctions features 🚀

JSONata simplifies complex transformations without custom Lambda functions, and the variables feature removes the 256KB state limit.

One of the biggest releases for #AWS #StepFunctions is now available - JSONata and variables support 🔥 🚀

1. You can replace the references you do within state machines with JSON path with more easy to use and powerful query and transformation language - JSONata.

The Test State feature for #stepfunctions is enormously helpful. A few weeks ago, I shared with the team how I wished I could not only copy the value from a node in a test response but also the path (so I can use that in my next state). And now I can! I love the team's focus on reducing pain points!

services with #StepFunctions including Bedrock #AgentCore and S3 Vectors which sound really interesting to me.

Being able to invoke agent runtimes with AgentCore including built-in retries, running agents in parallel via Map states, and manage provisioning as workflow (2/4)
