A #Wilke'sMiningBee about to land on #HempAgrimony on my #allotment.
According to #StevenFalk these bees seem to like umbellifers as nectar sources but main reason I see them each year might be relative abundance of #Bird's-foottrefoil, #clovers & #vetches from which they gather pollen.

ok #Miningbee experts & even #StevenFalk if you're there! .. my Cherry tree was attracting two of these beauties today, the first (pic 1) I recognise as the Ashy Mining bee but the 2nd one (pics 2 & 3) I'm struggling with .. A. bicolor? .. any help with that one would be gratefully received 🙏
