Beautiful morning walk. Highlights: watching flocks of Tits & Chiffchaffs, flock of 50 Linnets, Meadow Pipits, Stonechats, GCGrebes, Shovelers, Ravens, Buzzards, Kestrels, Grey Wagtail, Pinkies, Jays, GSWoodpecker, Cetti's singing everywhere, Tawny Owl & Barn Owls calling early.

All seven of a brood of Stonechats still being fed by their hot and bothered parents at Thirlwall Common, Northumberland, yesterday. Normal clutch size is 4-6 eggs, so they’ve done well! #birds #NEBirding
