Here I present a complete new reading of Malachi. Israel, the chosen people, is originally intersex! Their example shall lead us to #StopIntersexGenitalMutilation and to stop any genital mutilation that is externally determinated which finally leads to self-determination. #TheRightToBodilyAutonomy
Judah is male intersex mutilated, so they are called the despiser—of their female spirit; and what the text calls abominations—is female IGM upon Israel. Judah desecrates by IGM what God has made holy and joins the daughter of a foreign god. You say: "How do we exhaust YHWH?" By saying: "All who do evil are good" or: “Where is the God of justice?" (Malachi 2:17) Both reflect on intersex genital mutilation: the first implies IGM on infants was 'good', the second blames God for giving intersex traits and for our own misconception. #StopIntersexGenitalMutilation

For Jacob there is rescue and holiness on Mount Zion (17): male IGM on the pubic mound as a mode of survival. Jacob becomes fire and Joseph a flame (18)—a lineage passing on the torch. From this, saviors arise (21), in whom Obadiah trusts to deliver the message: #StopIntersexGenitalMutilation 2/2

God brought us up and out of Egypt and led us through the desert, from deep darkness through a land of drought -from female IGM through male IGM -where we can not live (Jeremiah 2.6) -as intersex.
