Picoxystrobin was banned in 2017 due to its toxicity, which has severe ecotoxic effects on ecosystems and poses risks to consumers, as its residues can be genotoxic.

Today is #WorldFoodDay ! It happens that EU bans toxic pesticides... but then still exports them to all corners of the world. And that is ⤴️ ever more: 120.000 tons in 2024, so we decided to send them back to the Commission. They have been waiting 5 years to act & stop this unethical double standard!

Epoxiconazole is a fungicide that was banned in 2020. It is toxic to reproduction as it negatively impacts fertility, healthy pregnancy and babies, with concerns about causing cancer. Also, it is very toxic to aquatic life, birds and wild animals.

The EU banned epoxiconazole, but still produces it to export to the Global South!
It is a fungicide banned in2020, toxic to reproduction as it negatively impacts fertility, a healthy pregnancy, concerns to cause cancer, & very toxic to aquatic life, birds and wild animals.
Let's return it to sender!

📊 In 2024, the EU exported more than 19 000 tonnes of this BASF herbicide, which has been banned since 2018 and can cause fertility problems and poses risks to healthy pregnancy and babies.
