Given that #StormCiara is probably going to stop me getting a walk tomorrow I headed out today instead. Glad I did, glorious sunshine, tiny shouters (wrens) in the hedgerows and what I think was kestrel in the tree tops. An afternoon well spent!

Woke up to a pounding by #stormciara; her furious tears lashing the panes at the back of our house. My sleeping companion – my kitten, Posie – was under the covers, stretched out along the length of me; as though my body might protect her from this weather's violent temper.
