The U.S. has already launched initial strikes on Iran, targeting Iranian territory at the northern entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian troops fired on U.S. aircraft amid public U.S. threats to attack Iran.
Trump is expected to bomb Pickaxe Mountain in Iran sometime between now and Monday the 7th. The operation is intended to help Netanyahu consolidate power in Israel and, in the event of a Democratic sweep in the midterms, punish the US public.
US and Israel have drawn up plans for renewed strikes on Iran. Netanyahu pushed Trump to resume the war before elections, but Trump resisted. The planned three-day offensive would target Iran energy and weapons infrastructure. Iran warns of a wider war.
