There was a small bit of resistance and it took longer to fill and empty, but overall definitely more comfortable. I'm convinced I have scar tissue after a year of treatment. I'm switching to a new Endo provider later this month and will explore alt-SubQ sites or IM options.

i just switched to subq and never going back. belly shots ftw. easy easy easy. tbh, i dont think injecting thru a tattoo is a problem or it would be common knowledge for anyone whos bumped up against illicit drug use

I use a 22 drawing and a 27 injection. The 27 gauge needle has only caused any pain one time and it was because I went in at a bad angle.
Would recommend. Also do subq, I know people who did IM and switched and they all said it’s easier.

what sucks is i know id probably have a greater success rate with subq but that squicks me out super bad. i should talk to my endo about what i can do to help with this though cause i need to be getting it consistently if i wanna get a pussy installed

Good luck!! For subq I find if you’re doing it on the thigh, it helps to go a little higher so you can pinch easier. Remember the bevel faces up!

heh you're right! i mean for subq shots! you do need longer needles for intramuscular, it works both ways but subq with a >=16mm needle is less painful and shouldn't leave a bruise? the only upside i see to im is you don't need to angle the needle, just stick it perpendicularly

wpath standards are unfortunately outdated. pill form should ideally be taken 3 times a day to regulate levels, but I prefer subq injections
