It is a real Discord survey. The 'sjc1' subdomain just points to a particular Qualtrics data centre, but you can take that out and the link still works. Discord has used Qualtrics for years, and nobody else would be able to make a survey at the 'discord' subdomain.

PSA: delete old DNS records you're not using.
I had an old subdomain still pointed to DigitalOcean from some dead project. Apparently when the IP got reused, a hacker got it, and was able to use it to publish content on my subdomain to steal SEO. They were even able to set up Google Search Console.

What if there was an atproto microblogging tool where you could tag your posts and every tag is also its own subdomain of your handle, so people can either follow your main (which reposts everything from its subdomains) or any of your subdomain handles (to only follow particular tags)

Please fix our custom usernames! It’s frustrating that we paid for a subdomain on Bluesky to build our community, our followers adopted the subdomain, and now what shows up on everyone’s profile is “invalid”.

Solution: I change my username back to pfrazee.com or pfrazee.bsky.social or something else. I don't lose my account or my followers
