Some subsurface scattering studies! Say that three times fast 😂

I can’t figure out if the light or dark background works better, so I included both ~

Ad-hoc Sunlight Subsurface Diffusion. On a PS2.
That's quite something really.

ok not to be annoying about this texture but the frills have subsurface scattering and it makes me very very happy :] #vrchat

Quick doodle, Do yall fw this lighting? 🤔
I feel like this will go hard with subsurface scattering

Probably gonna need to find some reference. The subsurface scattering for the lightning behind the frills feels off.

I really hate that I’m even addressing this, but… no.

A 5 KT B-61 wouldn’t come *close* to wiping Pickaxe Mountain off the map.

A 30 ft subsurface detonation isn’t nearly deep enough to contain fallout OR produce the requisite ground shock to destroy 400 feet below granite.
