And some more red on a Robin's Pincushion (aka rose bedeguar gall, mossy rose gall, moss gall, on a wild rose) made by Diplolepis rosae, a hymenopteran gall wasp.

No fungi to be found today at St Andrew and St Patrick Church, Elveden, but the first Snowdrops in bloom, and even better, a flock of Hawfinches, including in the trees depicted.
