❌ MYTH: People bereaved by suicide don’t want to talk about the loved one they have lost.

✔️ FACT: Many do, but only when it feels safe. Saying their name helps us carry the love, not just the loss.

Been to the final SoBS meeting this year. We all bring a picture of our lost ones for the December meeting. And one of the volunteers always makes a keepsake for everyone. This year a tealight holder. #SuicideBereavement

I've read enough of r/SuicideBereavement. If their relationship with him was in any way good, his loved are not okay and won't be for a very long time. He didn't suffer when he did it (before the act, suicidal people tend to be relieved to finally be free of the pain) but his family is going to now.
