This is really interesting. I remember seeing him perform Thunder Rolls before he was superfamous, at an outdoor arena in Cheyenne, while a thunderstorm was coming in. It was oddly powerful.

It's strange in hindsight: JFK was superfamous as a movie when it came out in Germany back in the day. We all watched it on the big screen, but nobody had any clue abt what the events surrounding Kennedys murder actually meant in the political context of the US. It was simply entertainment.
