Anomalous metal and superconducting phases in rhombohedral graphene - Nature
Observations of rhombohedral graphene on a WSe2 substrate at varying temperature, magnetic field and current indicate the presence of regions of gate space with zero-resistance superconductivity alongside others with finite saturation resistance.

A tiny twist can turn a non-magnet into a magnet, or an insulator into a conductor. In the case of graphene, it can turn a conductor into a superconductor.

James Mitchell Crow unpacks the world of twistronics:

In the 2D Hubbard model, superconductivity coexists with Néel order on the electron-doped side and with stripe order on the hole-doped side, while the gap is spatially modulated with the charge order in the stripe phase.

#Superconductivity made super-er. Apparently #superconductors are plagued by quantum vortices, akin to tiny tornados causing disturbances. But channels carved only an atom high can control those vortices.
