Especially sycamores. Fuck sycamores and their aggressive root systems. There are literally specialist tree surgeons who deal just with sycamores, that's how bad they are. I'm not against immigration but sycamores are not native to Britain and they can piss off back to continental Europe.

THREAD. In Jan 2018 I was living in a remote spot in the Peak District & writing a collection of spooky stories. In viciously cold weather I went walking on high moorland & stumbled across these two inosculated Sycamores. "That looks like a man with branch hands, raging at an unfair sky," I thought.
