Bummer🙁 I have a long and complicated history of gastric issues, and the only probiotic that ever really helped me is a UK made drink called Symprove. It's by far the best stuff I've come across for aiding your gut biome. Probably expensive to ship to US, but worth it if nothing else works!

I’ve ordered peppermint capsules with fennel! And ginger tea lol. I’m also going back on Symprove because that defo helped last time.

When I was sick a few years ago the consultant gastroenterologist recommended Symprove to help rebuild gut flora. It may have helped but was part of a recovery. I occasionally take Bio-Kult if I’m feeling like I need some bioengineering top-up. Otherwise no.

I have yet to find anything. I couldn't stomach Symprove and there's another I didn't find to be helpful either.
The only thing that's made a difference to me is eliminating Fodmaps and gradually reintroducing ones I can digest, but that is so few, so I'm still pretty IBS-ey most of the time 😭

That Symprove advert annoys me. If she said ‘To be alive and function we all need water, even bacteria’ then it would make sense but it’s weirdly discomforting and ambiguous as it is presented.

Oui bien sûr, c'est SYMPROVE. Ils ne font pas de vente hors UK direct sur leur site, il faut leur envoyer un mail. En revanche, ils bossent avec le king's college et ça a l'air sérieux niveau étude et moi je vois une amélioration niveau alimentaire

I've found Symprove *really* good. I'd take it all the time if it wasn't so expensive. But a few months now and then seems to keep everything comfortable. However, I suppose not everything will work for everyone...
