I’m not sure they do. I was tempted to ask but these people where do self-assured that any medical intervention was an admission that disabled folks were lesser than so I just backed away in horror thinking of my comrades with MS and parkingson’s and kidney disease and bipolar.

Very possibly, my doctors told me it wasn’t a ‘normal’ symptom and I was checked for ms and parkingson’s based on my vertigo. balance and gait. That said in the Facebook fibro group Im in it seems extremely common.

They indulged in journalistic malpractice by baselessly claiming that a Parkingson's doctor specifically met with Biden, when it was a standard practice that happened under both Trump and Obama and has to do with WH staff.

Fibromyalgia , which I gave has been suspected of being post viral. Recent studies are linking MS with Epstein Barr and Parkingson’s with certain influenza epidemics. I think a bunch of other chronic conditions are being linked to infections. I remember reading that MS paper when it came out (cont)

A professor I was working with (who cites critical disability studies as one of their areas of research) suggested I try yoga when I was being assessed for MS and parkingson’s last year. I don’t have either, thankfully, but the combo of fibro and long COVID is causing all kinds of glitchy movement.
