Dog help me, I think i'm going to Make A Video about this. half or more of the free plugins posted to BPB the past two weeks have had AI generated sites like this, which makes me suspect all the plugins they host are AI generated too. I'm tellin' y'all, this is SynthEdit 2.0 and far worse
about a month ago an internet friend made me aware of the specific web design look that AI generates and I've never felt more like I've had the They Live glasses in my life. It's saved me from supporting AI jerks, but what I really hate is I like the look of the trendy serif fonts sometimes.

i'll bet anything that the only reason it's finally on Mac now is because the creator used AI to port it. I can't begin to imagine the jank of an AI SynthEdit plugin. holy shit.

I just can't get excited about plugins anymore because the whole ecosystem is polluted now. This is probably great news for my productivity since I can just ignore everything made past 2025 now, but it's a shame. AI plugin developers should have to put the "Made with Synthedit" button on releases
