Oh wow, yeah, from the online pictures, syun-gyo looks very close (certainly close enough), and now I want!!! that Diamine Chaos as well.

Tho i think the color is really close to Diamine Chaos, but that has hella green sheen on it.

I can't put anything other than pilot iroshizuku syun-gyo into my regular pen until the bottle is done, but I might look out for sailor next time

My go to always is Pilot Iroshizuku Ink. For black I use syun-gyo. Extremely well behaved ink (it is NOT permanent so it will smear with a highlighter).

Indeed! I used it for the first time this week and it was love at first sight. I know people love Kon Peki but couldn’t find in stock yet. So far I have: Tsutsuji, Kosumosu, Yama-guri, and Kiri-same. Ku-Jaku, To-Ro, Yama-Budo, Rikka, and Syun-gyo are on their way.

I’ve only had one Colorverse Ink so far, the 2024 Blue Dragon Standard, and I’ve enjoyed it in the old Pilot BB it exclusively lives in.
I’ve been thinking about picking up a small bottle of Syun-gyo, so I’ll keep all of this in mind.

I have loaded my Pilot E95s fountain pen in the discontinued maroon with their newly introduced maroon ink Syun-Gyo. I need Pilot to explain what the thought process was, here, because as you might expect, they are a dead on match.

I’ve been using Pilot Iroshizuku Syun-Gyo for the past couple months but I wouldn’t call it a red/black. It’s lovely but it’s more a purply brown.

Sheaffer VFM in blue inked with Pilot Iroshizuku Syun-Gyo, a strange ink that is marketed as black with red notes, is more purple-gray in person (I had to bump the contrast WAY up for anything to show up on camera) and has a green shimmer that I don’t really see
