Carbon taxes are wealth taxes too if you want to think about it that way.

I think that $200/tonne would add like $2/gallon cost and seems like a fine start.

Yes, that's a big part of it, but the party voting in favor of it, needs to make a bigger stink and call out those who vote against it. And the media are supposed to be asking them why they voted against fair taxation. It's all a little too cosy in the chambers between both parties. #TaxTheWealthy
