SpaceX had dozens of samples showing that it could not comply with the clean water act permit proposed but weirdly, only the lowest pollutant level samples were submitted to TCEQ. The Chain of Custody forms on these samples were straight up impossible as well.

Abbott was pushed into directing TCEQ to stop permitting data centers this week, which is problematic (in TCEQ pov) because the Commission doesn't ask if a developer is applying for a data center. They don't ask bc the applicant is not legally obligated to tell them. (Yet.)
Hoping I don't have to eat my words here, but increasingly feels like the question is less "can they drag Paxton over the line" and increasingly "can they save Greg Abbott"

I mean, in many ways this is already the case. The TCEQ does not regulate any poison production/emissions. That's why we still have huge cancer alleys in Texas.
