TDOSS is the same kind of odd, cracked, nasty, "this is going to be SOME crackpot's favourite album ever made" album as Relapse. But it was running against a much better shortlist of current veterans, a young up-and-comer, and a mature album by an old pioneer. Doechii winning was the best outcome

I have a crackpot theory that the only Eminem things that are canon are the ones that have phone calls from his manager telling him to behave, which makes the list: SSLP, MMLP, TES, Encore, Relapse, MMLP2 (behind the scenes videos only), Kamikaze, TDOSS, and Stans (2025 film)

Again when was Saddam last in South Park? There's literally a bit in The Marshall Mathers LP where Eminem imitates Saddam's "relax, guy" tic for a rhyme which feels carbon dated to me (the recent SP episode has a very similar vibe to TDOSS, but is set later along the same culture shift)

Quando eu mandei um monte de textão explicando o pq de tdoss ser thoschei core e ela concordou com tudo
adoro mandar coisa que penso de thoschei pra grazi pq ela concorda (e vice versa) e o melhor é que a gente nunca vai saber se faz sentido mesmo pq tudo é thoschei pra gente

Kamikaze and Music To Be Murdered By are both really good and much better than Revival, and TDOSS is 2/3rds a retro-styled concept album about speech politics and 1/3 some disconnected brag tracks he found lying around
