Tenable (NASDAQ: TENB) announced its participation in Project Watershed, a White House-led initiative aimed at strengthening cybersecurity for U.S. water and wastewater systems. The program, led by the Office of the National Cyber Director and piloted in Texas, connects participating water utilities with cybersecurity capabilities and expertise to identify and address vulnerabilities.According to Tenable, it will contribute exposure management expertise across IT and OT environments to help utilities unify visibility, prioritize risk and automate remediation amid growing cyber threats to critical infrastructure and essential water services.

Tenable (NASDAQ: TENB) announced enhanced AI security capabilities in the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform, expanding Tenable One AI Exposure coverage to Google Gemini and reinforcing support for Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot. The update also adds discovery for major Model Context Protocol (MCP) deployments and AI-native IDE tools such as Cursor, Windsurf and Trae.According to Tenable, its systems detected 457 million AI-related security issues across more than 7,000 organizations in 30 days, averaging 62,000 exposures per organization. New features include expanded sanctioned and shadow AI visibility, Google Gemini monitoring and policy enforcement, and operationalized remediation through Jira, ServiceNow, email, Slack and Teams integrations.
