My #Amiga 1200’s TF1260 accelerator has one of the original firmware’s on it. So I’m updating it via jtag flashing from a Raspberry pi 4.

The massive increase of cpu power from the Pistorm is incredible.
Here it is running the Dark Forces port on the stock AGA video. No RTG over hdmi.
It’s getting 3x the framerate that it would get on the 50Mhz TF1260.
And if I was using the RTG hdmi out it would be even higher. Crazy.

Consider Stephen Leary's TerribleFire based solutions - have been very impressed with them in mine.
For the 1200 you have a few options: TF1230, TF1260 & TF1232.

One of the annoyances of retro computing is when you know AND HAVE EVIDENCE that you have had Doom working on your Commodore Amiga 1200 with TF1260 with MC60LC060 before, but cannot get it to work currently and cannot fathom why...

Holy crap, they were right. The new Outrun for the Amiga just crawls on my A4000 using the A3640 CPU card. I'm going to have to try it on my TF1260.

That's kinda what I did. @polpo.org found an auction w/ an 060 motorola board mislabeled with no bidders so I snatched up a rev0 for about $140 then saved up enough for the TF1260 later

I guess the version of SysInfo on my Amiga 1200 doesn't like the TF1260 / MC68LC060...
