Mayor Bass released her budget proposal for the 2026-2027 Fiscal Yr last week. In this proposal, she chose NOT TO FUND THE TGIwe INITIATIVE,& instead continues to pour more of the city’s finite resources into the LAPD at a time when TGI and immigrant communities are increasingly more vulnerable.
