Ever try one as a theremin, though?
I mean the Hugos weigh anywhere from six to thirteen pounds and have a large base, they're kind of unwieldy to use for slide guitar. I suppose I could slide the guitar down the Hugo instead but that presents issues of its own.
Do you ever use the Hugo to play slide guitar? ;)

One of the world's first passive radio listening devices. Invented by a genius Soviet inventor and engineer Lev Sergeyevich Termen, also spelled Theremin.

Yes, *that* Theremin.
Ahem. The Thing was also a present from another country. It contained a listening device that wasn’t discovered for seven years.

Most people think the theremin is just for aliens, maybe ghosts. Only Brian Wilson had the true vision that it could also be for summertime sweetheart jams
