take your regular tokyopop book and imatine it being two inches shorter and one inch narrower. This is a common size for light novels and adult comic books. By "adult " I don't mean porn. I mean stories intended for an adult audience due to the topics usually being about getting old.

Time hasn't been kind to it. But this one of my most prized possessions. Was given to me in middle school.
I wish i could find the second volume physically so bad but Tokyopop had that whole fiasco and now its so hard to find anything.

But with every single one, he seldom talks about the thing that made Tokyopop famous: the manga. Even early on in this one, he refers to its past incarnation as a "content" company, not a manga publisher.

It also makes me sad that Harlem Beat and MARS never got the fresh translation and reprint treatment that Rayearth, Sailor Moon, and Parasyte all got. Either Kodansha didn't bother to wrestle the rights back from TokyoPop, or they did and just decided the series weren't popular enough to bother. 😢
