So, I cut the first set of strips down to 10.5" lengths, sewed them 5 at a time into squares, trimmed them to 10.25", and started cutting them into triangles. Once I get the second strip trimmed, washed, cut down, and sewn/cut again, I can look at how to arrange them. #quiltsky #scrappyquilt #quilt

The gravestone I posted reminded me of a roof. This particular roof shape, with all faces sloping inwards (typically two triangles and two trapeziums) is known as a hip roof. It seemed appropriate to use that name to describe the gravestone too. Not sure if it’s technically correct to do so.
