I feel like the "slow takeoff" thesis is dependent on ~infrastructural ~build-out being the limiting factor—I've kinda defaulted to thinking along those lines, but "fast takeoff" thesis on the other hand seems contingent on there being a lot of unrealized performance gains in existing deployments
